Multiply offers easy access to free numeracy courses to help you use numbers better at work or in your everyday life including helping you to get a job.

Multiply is fully funded for learners and is part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee, helping everyone gain skills for life.

How can Multiply help me?

“Three in 10 (31%) say they are not a “numbers person”. Women are more likely to say it and are more than twice as anxious as men about maths and numbers”

Good numeracy skills may unlock job opportunities and lead to higher wages or for start up businesses and SMES, prepare you for understanding your accounts.

Through the workshops you will learn skills such as:

Create financial documents, including balance sheets and profit and loss
Manage cash flow in a workplace or business
Manage costing, pricing and breakeven point
Assess, process and present data

Designed as bite-size modules to fit around you in a way which is convenient and supportive, Multiply can help you to tackle challenges around using numbers. The sessions are delivered online and in-person with flexible timings to fit around your schedule.

Eligibility

To enrol onto the Mutiply sessions, you must be over the age of 19 and not have a GCSE in maths higher than a C. You must live, run or work for a business in Devon (excluding Plymouth and Torbay) to be eligible.
